FAQ's
How many days is the class session?
The weekend class consists of 4 instructor-led class sessions + ~18 hours of self-paced video coursework on our online learning platform called Teachable. Classes run 8:15AM-2:00PM all four days.
How long do I have to complete the class?
You have 30 days from the last day of your scheduled webinar session to complete the program. For example, if you are in a weekend class that runs July 8, 9, 15 & 16, all of your coursework is due on August 16. If you purchased the Premium course package, you have an additional 30 days to complete the course. Day 1 is considered the last day of your scheduled webinar so the earlier you register, the longer you have to complete the coursework.
What if I need more time to finish the coursework?
If you need more time to complete the course, you can purchase a month-to-month extension for $25 per month which will be billed monthly until canceled.
How long do I have access to the class materials for review?
Our Basic program includes 30 days of access to the course materials and the Premium Package allows for 6 months of review. Day 1 is considered the last day of your scheduled webinar so if your class ends on June 30, you will have review access until July 30 if you purchased the Basic course or December 30 if you purchased the Premium package.
What if I need more time to review the class materials before I take the exam?
You can purchase an extension for access on a monthly recurring basis for $25 per month, billed monthly until canceled.
What textbook is used for the class?
We use Principles of Real Estate Practice in Massachusetts by Performance Programs. A digital eBook is included with the class.
We know that some students prefer a physical textbook so if you would like to purchase a hardcopy of the textbook, you can do so by following this link: Principles of Real Estate Practice in MA.
The hardcopy of the textbook is NOT required for class.
What do I do after I complete the Real Estate Salesperson course?
After you complete the 40 hours of required pre-licensing coursework with us(~22 hours of instructor-led webinar programming + ~18 hours of online self-paced video lessons), you will receive a stamped Education Certification from our school.
You will then apply for and take a 2-part MA real estate license exam with PSI Testing Services. Once you pass the MA real estate exam, you will pay for and receive your Mass real estate license at the testing center.
